  • Sina Walter, Katharina Meerpohl, Markus Becker and Jennifer Riedasch (from left to right) from the Quentic team received the award in the Berlin Design Offices on February 14th, 2019.
  • Two thirds of the Great Place to Work® results are based on the anonymous employee survey, while one third is based on a management survey on beneficial measures in personnel work.

Quentic has been named as one of the winners of the Great Place to Work® Competition “Best Employers in Berlin-Brandenburg 2019”. The provider of software and services for Environment, Health, Safety (EHS) and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) was honored by the independent institute in the category “Companies with 50 to 200 Employees.” The award is given to employers who provide a good corporate culture and particularly attractive working conditions.

“At Quentic, we live a culture of trust and cooperation that empowers every individual to develop his or her strengths. Freedom of choice, transfer of knowledge, and active feedback are just as important a part of our self-image as our commitment to diversity, individual development opportunities, and a fair work-life balance is. We are proud to receive this award: it is only through the combined dedication of our employees that we can make a meaningful contribution to society, people, and the environment,” says Markus Becker, CEO of Quentic.

Quentic has already been honored by Great Place to Work® in recent years, being repeatedly classified as one of the best employers in Berlin-Brandenburg. “The award stands for a workplace culture that is characterized by values such as trust, pride, and team spirit,” explains Andreas Schubert, Managing Director of the German Great Place to Work® Institute. The assessment is based on an anonymous employee survey. The focus is on work topics such as identification with the company, trust in executives, career development opportunities, compensation, promotion of health, and work-life balance. In addition, measures of personnel and management are evaluated.
